In anticipation of the Brian Freeman author talk coming up on April 17, the Library Dragons are catching up on some reading while enjoying Sammy’s Pizza – just as Detective Jonathan Stride likes to do. 

 

 

 

 

 

THE DRAGONS IN WASHINGTON, D. C.

The Dragons are in Washington, D.C., for a visit.  They had planned to go on a Capitol Tour as well as swing by the Library of Congress; however, due to bad weather, both buildings are closed today.  Instead, they stopped by the office of Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar and the very nice staff there gave them a tour of the office space, including the Senator’s office, where they stopped for a photo. The Senator was not available as she was busy on Capitol Hill.

 

The Dragons couldn’t resist a picture in this Minnesota Delegation 2011 Hot Dish Off dish.

After the tour, the Dragons stopped for a quick game of chess, and then were on their way!
