AN UNEXPECTED TWIST... July 30, 2018

A few weeks ago, the Library Dragons went on a grand adventure with Legolas:

While they were gone, artist David Newbatt painted amazing and fantastical things in the Library story time/castle area, including this cozy fireplace:

Things took a rather disturbing turn, however, when the Dragons returned from their adventure…

(Huh…I was under the impression that this ring had been destroyed…now what?)

What is going on at the Adrian Branch Library? And do the Library Dragons have permission to paint on the walls????

International artist, David Newbatt, is at the Library . . . stop by to see something truly amazing (can’t give it away yet – a full set of photos, showing the progression of Mr. Newbatt’s creation at the Library will be posted later next week).

Mr. Newbatt is from Aberdeen, Scotland, and the staff forgot to warn him about leaving things unattended at the Library . . . looks like the Dragons plan to give the artist a hand!

CAMPING/S'MORES IN THE LIBRARY July 10, 2018

All it took was someone to mention s’mores (and how making them in an oven or microwave is NOT the same thing as the bonfire-way of cooking them), to remind me of the Library Dragons’ original Crime Spree.  The “evidence photos” at the end of the camping adventure were published online and in the newspaper, but not the adventure itself.  So, here, in its entirety, is the Library Dragons’ Crime Spree Camping Adventure… (Remember, click once on the first picture to view as a slide show.  Excuse the quality of some of the photos - the Dragons had trouble focusing, but improved with time...)
