DRAGONS TRY THEIR HAND AT RENOVATIONS October 20, 2016

Ander and Blayze Dragon are working on their own concept of the Library renovation project.  Of course, being Dragons, they are working with legos instead of bricks and mortar.

Word is that the renovation will begin before the end of the year Unfortunately, there still is not enough money to pay for the furnishings once the building is repaired and renovated.  Anyone who donates will get their name on the Donation Wall (and can also have the name of a loved one, business, organization, etc., listed on the Donation Wall).

If you want to help the Library Dragons raise money for the renovation, this is how you can do it:

Online: http://www.plumcreeklibrary.org/adrian      follow the fundraiser link

Write a check made out to:  LACF  (Lismore Area Community Foundation, our fiscal agent)

Mail to or stop in at:
Adrian Branch Library
214 Maine Avenue
PO Box 39
Adrian, MN   56110

Please help us reach our goal of $80,000.  As of October 20, 2016, we are at $33,500.  We appreciate any and all donations.  Thank you!

IT IS PUMPKIN TIME! September 12, 2016

The Library Dragons planted too many pumpkins (as if that could be possible!). Now they have to decide what to do with them!

This is a special shout-out and homage to Librarian Marilyn Daub of the Wabasso Library – she inspired the Dragons. Thanks, Marilyn!

THANK YOU, WILLIAM KENT KRUEGER!!! June 17, 2016

Guess what was waiting at the library for us this morning? A mysterious package from William Kent Krueger.  Thrilled to be thus surprised, the Dragons quickly tore through the packaging and unearthed some lovely treasures!
The patrons of the Adrian Branch Library are going to be thrilled with these wonderful audio books, a gift from the author himself!

Thank you, Kent, so very very much!  You did not have to do this ~
your friendship is the best gift of all!  J
